How do parents get a scholarship? Parents who are working or who are in training or educational programs and who are income eligible, but who are not eligible for Kansas SRS funding, should call any of the participating centers. The center will be able to determine whether the parent is eligible and if there are openings for the child(ren) at this time. How much of the childcare bill does the scholarship pay? Scholarships are paid on a sliding scale according to the parents’ income. They pay between 20% and 100% of the childcare fee. Parents who have partial scholarships are billed by the center for the remainder of their bill. What are the income eligibility guidelines? Child must be a United States citizen; Families are eligible to apply if they make no more than the following amounts monthly:
