Child Care Tuition Scholarship Programs
DCCDA supports high quality child care and recognizes family’s need for assistance.
The following two scholarship programs are available to provide assistance for low-income or at risk families:
Douglas County Child Development Association Scholarship – funded by United Way of Douglas County
- Sliding scale scholarships for families earning up to 300% Federal Poverty Level
- Center based care
- Keep low-income parents in the work force or training for work
- Provide quality early education opportunities for young children who otherwise would not be able to afford it
FIAT Scholarship – funded by Early Childhood Block Grant from Children’s Cabinet & Trust Fund
- Sliding scale scholarships for families earning up to 185% Federal Poverty Level
- Center and home based care
- Infants & Toddlers 0 – 30 months
- Increase the availability, affordability, and quality of infant and toddler child care for at risk families
